Graphics RCA: 50 Years 05.11.14

Graphic RCA: 50 Years traces the development of graphic design at the college through a timeline of work produced by students from 1963 to 2014. The exhibition includes some beautiful work by the big names. But beyond the celebrity seeks to demonstrate a fundamental and consistent self-questioning and an innovative approach within the school driven by staff and students to question what is graphic design. An attitude and approach that has been demonstrably carried beyond the college into the professional practices of its alumni.

Dan Fern, Professor Emeritus (my tutor 95-97) with current Head of Programme and Dean of School, Professor Neville Brody (my boss 97-2000).
