Studio International at Raven Row 24.04.15

This exhibition looks at five issues of Studio International magazine produced from 1966 to 1972 under the editorship of Peter Townsend. These five issues focus on sculpture as it went through a period of stylistic and conceptual change. The dominance of formalism was over and Townsend used the magazine (and Bloomsbury pubs) to discuss the social potential of the form through contemporary post-constructivist, minimalist and conceptual practices.
