Phil Ball invited me to dip in to the Medical Artist’s Association Conference. He’s the chairman, I did my work experience with him at Addenbrooke’s. Also caught up with Bari Logan who ran the anatomy dept at Cambridge University and Phil Wilson who was my tutor at Middlesex. I listened to two lectures – the first by Dr Ruth Richardson who has written a book – “The Making of Gray’s Anatomy”. The second by Prof. Buckland-Wright (Deputy Master, Worshipful Company of Barber Surgeoons) on the history of anatomy. (Above: Phil with large helping of 60th Anniversary MAA cake)
