Aid & Abet – The Soft Landscape 03.06.15

Aid & Abet’s work has routinely changed over their residency – sculptures and collections have been modified, added to, replaced, dis-assembled and re-assembled through an ongoing process of evolution. They’re prolific, making drawings, taking photographs, producing films and writing poetry. In addition they have collaborated with the Department of Land Economy and Edward Shepherd who wrote an essay for their exhibition book, staff at the NW Cambridge Development, the other residency artists, curator Maeve Polkinhorn, and others. Visiting the studio several times this year, I have watched their work build into a very substantial, albeit temporary, statement.
