Architects Declare 5th Birthday Party 26.07.24

Earlier this week I joined Architects Declare at a party to mark their 5th birthday held at Haworth Tompkins London office near the Barbican. Signatory practices and supporters were invited to celebrate the groups achievements to date and consider what comes next.

It’s been a busy year for the steering group – publishing a number of industry guides including Building Blocks to Transform the Built Environment which was launched at a media event at the House of Commons in March with an introduction by Green MP Caroline Lucas, Grand Designs presenter Kevin McCloud, economist Kate Raworth and architect Sarah Barfield. They also met with the new Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, Ed Miliband.

We helped AD refresh their visual identity and created a series of print, screen and social templates. We also created a logo for the launch of the Regenerative Architecture Index, a joint initiative with Architecture Today magazine – the project aims to raise awareness and celebrate best practice across the wider construction industry.

ADUK have another busy year ahead as they continue to lobby regulators and support over 1,500 practices in tackling the climate and biodiversity emergency.
